About this Event

Elevate is an annual training day to assist those in parish ministries involved in youth and young adult ministry from various regions of the Archdiocese of Toronto. It serves as a 'launch pad' for parishes to effectively train and form their leaders for the ministry year with their pastoral plan and schedules in mind.

This is the first year we have included a young adult track to train young adult leaders. 

Some topics we will touch on are:

• Our call to mission 
• Starting, maintaining, and sustaining a young adult ministry in your parish
• How to minister to young adults as a young adult
• Balancing work, life, and ministry
• Effective relational ministry
• Leading in prayer 
• Ethics and professional conduct in a young adult group 
• Navigating young adults in different seasons of their life 
• Ministry night ideas, speakers, themes, core team growth opportunities 
• And many more!

There will also be a panel discussion and a brainstorming session with other young adult leaders.
